We are conveniently positioned a five-minute drive from Rhodes University and the schools and have often housed visiting lecturers, prospective students and their parents. Being situated close to the centre of Grahamstown makes it easy to explore the cathedral and museums dedicated to some of our local history during your stay. Events exclusive to Grahamstown include the SciFest in March-April and the Grahamstown Festival of the Arts which runs for 10 days from the end of June.
Our location also grants access to several impressive game reserves including Kwandwe, Lalibela and Addo Elephant Park. Pleasure sight-seeing flights and transport are also available to our guests through Elgon’s sister company, Strato Air Charters.
